In our previous happy half-hour gatherings ASEM designers shared recent work, we discussed how the format of our future meetings should be (co-working days still replaced by Happy Half-Hour days on Zoom for now), and Michael Bergland-Riese shared the work around the Husker Pride initiative duringLincoln's first Star City Pride parade on June 19. He also shared a link to purchase Husker Pride t-shirts. We hope you will join us for the next Happy Half-Hour day.

Adobe MAX 2021

Adobe MAX will be held online October 26–28. The free virtual event will include over 400 live and on-demand sessions and labs. Featured speakers include Chloé Zhao, Eddie Opara, Zerina Akers, David Carson, and more.

"Lift Off" mural features six space people putting together a rocket, highlighting the value of teamwork in entrepreneurship.

“Lift Off” University Community Mural Painting

All are welcome to collaboratively paint a mural on Wednesday, Sept. 1,4-6 p.m. in the greenspace by the Nebraska Union. Commissioned by the Center for Entrepreneurship (C4E)at the College of Business, the mural will be the first venture for a newstartupcalled ThePALETTEProject, spearheaded by founder, CEO and senior management major Erika Casarin.

The student-created design is like a big paint-by-number activity. Join for fun, good jams, snacks and getting to know about entrepreneurial opportunities on campus.

Please dress in clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on. You’ll meet The PALETTE Project, the student startup coordinating the event, and receive a t-shirt just for you. Closed-toed shoes are recommended.
